These shorts are stretchy and true to size. Small fits a 0-2, medium fits a 3-6. Large fits an 6-8. If in between sizes, size up. Models 1 and 2 are in medium, their usual shorts size. Model 1 is 5'9" and model 2 is 5'6". Dark wash is the pics by the horses.
